New College Nottingham (NCN) is one of the largest further education colleges in the UK, with a wide range of full and part-time study programmes. NCN is an integral part of the Nottingham community, with centres located throughout this great student city. Courses are offered at a variety of levels: from GCSEs right through to degree-level study.
As the leading experts in Search Engine Optimisation Nottingham, NCN first approached Clements Marketing back in 2011 and asked us to help with the reaching of their overseas markets for their Nottingham English School who specialise in helping international students to learn English. We helped them to achieve this by combining a unique offering of talent and skills.
By overcoming the barriers to international trade in order to do business with China – the world’s largest emerging economy – NES quickly saw an increase in their student numbers, and for this achievement, Clements Marketing won the Nottinghamshire’s Best Business Award for Marketing Campaign of the Year.
Within their internet marketing campaign we successfully implemented geo-targeting – an online marketing tool which enables you to target your ads to potential customers who are located or interested in particular geographical areas. With our newly obtained and larger second year contract, we intend to extend this localisation technique to include a wider range of translated material in order to appeal to and attract students from other countries, particularly China, Spain and Russia.
We will also be increasingly using social media in order to attract even more students to NES’s local and international websites.
